Constant
lamp
power
The
ballast keeps the lamp power
constant (±2%) in a wide
lamp voltage range (80V - 160V)
at ±10% (-15%) input voltage
fluctuation.
Different
ignition methods are
available. The simple method
provides hot re-ignition within
one minute. If requested another,
somewhat more complex ignition
method is also available
providing instant hot re-ignition
for 70W and 100W HPS lamps, and
short hot reignition time (15s -
20s) for the 150W and 250W
lamps.
The
output is protected against
asymmetrical load transient
caused by a special feature of
HID lamps at startup.
Dimming
steps, if requested, can be
increased from two steps to
several steps (3 -Continuous
dimming may be also
available.
